Hello, my name is Mike and my dad recently was diagnosed with cancer of the jaw and tounge which also went into his limph node. He was operated on in April 5 2007 and was in intensive care after a 12 hour opeation, which took much of his jaw tissue and also part of the tounge. The ENT had to remove tissue from his rt. breast to help fill the void in his jaw and neck. The operation has left him with no feeling and very little movement of his tounge. He can only swallow small amounts of liquid. I have to feed him trough a Peg tube that is inserted into his stomach through a hole just above his belly button. Since the operation, we have had 34 radiation treatments and are going to do chemo. My question is, we need help with medical bills which are coming from every direction.  He is only 64 son he does not qualify for Medicare.  If anyone can or would like to help, please e-mail me at mikie203@cox.net . He has always been a proud man, but now he is having to depend soley on me.  He will be 65 in Nov. so we will be able to get medicare help but that will only help with bills that we have after Medicare starts.
